Drawing David Levithan

I began this project with wanting to draw David Levithan in my eyes along with the help of a picture I would use to give me a better idea of what he looked like. It was interesting that I made the picture of him as an older guy considering that not only are my drawing abilities not the best, but because I read David Levithan "blind". I was a blind reader because I could only imagine what he looked like until I took the initiative to view a picture. There was something surprising to me that he wasn't as old as I thought he was. Drawing him looking older was a mistake possibly because how astute he is. I do think that it worked out for the better because this is more of an image of how I saw David Levithan when I would submerge myself in his books.
